The Golden Gate Bridge at sunrise.
sweet potatoes and goldfish,
barbecued chicken wings,
apricots, basketballs, poppies.

Orange sun at end of day,
melting in the bay’s waters
and spreading streaks of color
across the sky’s fading canvas.
